STRATEGIC ALIGNMENT
Our STRATEGIC ALIGNMENT services facilitate groups to engage in strategic thinking, insight generation and action planning.
​
There are forces that are perpetually pulling an aligned team apart (competing agendas, conflicting plans, different domain skills and motivations, lack of shared objectives, reasons to collaborate etc.) . Activities that build and maintain alignment can enable teams to deliver.
CREATIVITY AT WORK
Insight Out works with organisations to design or adapt their CREATIVE PROCESS, to get momentum behind it.

We also BUILD CREATIVE INNOVATION CAPACITY in teams and individuals through tailored in-situ programmes that facilitate teams and individuals to learn on the job.

We facilitate creative collaboration and provide creativity coaching from Graduate-level to Board-level.

INTER-EXPERT COLLABORATION
Insight Out facilitates COLLABORATION through innovative, bespoke, thoughtfully-designed and expertly delivered forms of stakeholder engagement, such as workshops or small format engagement, depth interviews or larger events.

Creating the context where different domain experts can effectively and efficiently collaborate involves a deep understanding of how groups work.
INNOVATION AT WORK
Using the principles of innovation and tools such as design thinking, we lead teams in INNOVATION SPRINTS to deliver new ideas in focussed time periods.

We provide teams with an INNOVATION COACH to keep teams on track and to build skill in relation to the innovation process, principles and key skills.

We also work with organisations to design and facilitate OPEN INNOVATION NETWORKS which are characterised by complexity and inter-organisation involvement.

We facilitate creative collaboration for strategic planning, problem solving, idea generation and anything that requires multiple brains in a united pursuit.
Our current clients span vastly different industries and include government, semi-state and private sector organisations of all sizes. We work with early-stage start-ups and NPD teams to clarify their proposition, and ensure it is end-user centric. We work with open innovation networks, expert groups and train teams in creativity and the process of innovation. We facilitate strategic alignment in senior, inter-expert teams across multiple sectors.

FOUNDER
Dr. Diane Tangney founded Insight Out in 2010. With extensive experience working for and with creative companies in a leadership capacity, Insight Out was established as an ideas company specialising in the facilitation of creative collaborative and the human-side of innovation.
​
As well as an active innovation and creativity practitioner, Dr. Tangney is a leading thinker in her creative field, contributing internationally in the academic arena. Diane's doctorate in Interdisciplinary Creative Collaboration, explored exaclty how experts come together to make breakthroughs.
​
Diane works with organisations, state agencies and universities enabling the work of creative collaboration to imagine the future and to pragmatically plan for it. She lectures in the area of Creative Thinking, bringing an understanding of the psychology and cognitive processes of creativity to the practical process of inter-expert collaboration

OUR INSPIRATION
From the genius of the eighteenth-century coffee houses, to the achievements at Bletchley Park and Skunkworks, it is clear to me that our greatest strength to achieve wonders lies in the creative potential between us. I am inspired by the wild imagination of Jim Henson, the fearless ingenuity of the Wright brothers and by the wise words of Margaret Mead and Stephen Hawking. To name a few...
